There is no facility (that I'm aware of) to delete pictures en-masse that are on your iPad, other than the tried and true, tap the forward button, touch each picture one at a time and once you've got a check mark in the photos you want to delete, touch the trash icon.

plug it in to your computer.
open the actual drive for the IPad on your desktop (for mac) or in Computer for windows.
open that up and you will see the folder in there. all yoru pics are in that.. just highlight all and delete.
