Apr 20, 2012 10:33 AM in response to askpklimby Malcolm J. Rayfield,The Thunderbolt display requires a computer with a Thunderbolt port. A two year old iMac uses Mini DisplayPort, not Thunderbolt. You could use the Mini DisplayPort version of the 27" display.
