Hi,

Cannot find all deleted fotos in Trash. When emptying trash it says it will delete 1270 fotos. Of these I can find 1100 when going to trash and counting what's in there. I humbly wonder where the remaining 170 photos are located?

Pls advice,

pyry

Are you asking about the Aperture Trash? You may have a filter set on the Aperture Trash. Clear the Filter in the Browser - it should show "Show all".

How did you ount what is in the trash?  As Léonie wrote you might have a filter set on the trash browser  or another possibility is that some images are in stacks.

Interesting - I never noticed that Aperture counts images in closed stacks as one. I keep my stacks open all the time because I don't like not to be able to see what's in them.

What is reported when the stack is closed

What s really in the trash

So what is possibly happening to the OP is, trash says there re 3 images in there but I count only one image and the browser only reports 1 item. So where are the rest? As the bottom image shows they're in the trash just hidden.

    Thanks Frank,

I tried just exactly that - with the stack closed the count at the bottom of the browser shows only one item, also the item count at the trash, but with the stack open - as I like to keep them- the item count beside the trash shows all versions.

I am glad you discovered your images, but now I am really puzzled:

The images reappeared in Aperture's trash or the system trash on your Desktop?

Dis you reboot with Aperture still open? Simply rebooting should neither affect the Aperture Library nor your Aperture preferences, unless something really is wrong.
