Do iBooks need an LCCN number

Since these books can only be viewed on an iPad, does it make sense to seek a Library of Congress number?

    You are required to obtain and apply a digital ISBN-13 for each 'paid' book you submit to the store.

    Books published in electronic form are ineligible for an LCCN, regardless if they come from iBA, Pages, calibre, etc.
