Have you tried using iFrame code in the snippet with just the url to the video from the code provided? Just copy the first iFrame line which is that below. Leave out the other stuff with the movie title, etc. that comes after it.
<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/9473131?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="400" height="300" frameborder="0"></iframe>
You can see it at the bottom of this demo page: Adding YouTube & Vimeo Videos

I cannot get it to work no matter what I try.
Here's a page where I set up some scenarios: embedded Vimeo with the old and new code, embedded YouTube with old and new code in HD and just a regular one, and the one you suggested:
None of them are working. When I publish to a folder on my iDisk outside of the iWeb one and open it straight from iDisk in Safari, (file:///Volumes/jamin.duncan/Web/Sites/iWeb/Site/Test.html) everything works, but as soon as I put it in the iWeb folder, it doesn't work.
It's very frustrating. Any thoughts?

You've got a number of files that are not getting uploaded. (Type Command+A whlle viewing the page and look at the Activity window for your site).
So try using the File ➙ Publish Entire Site menu option. Then be sure to clear your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and open the test site.
You can also publish your site to a folder on your hard drive and open it locally to check if it's working OK. If so then the problem lies in the uploading.

Until very recently, I was able to upload videos to YouTube and then embed these into iWeb. When I tried to use the YouTube widget, it told me that the URL was invalid. So, I tried Vimeo, and that did not work either. A search of Apple Discussions led me here, and I would like to try some of these suggestions, but I do not know how to publish my site to my hard drive, and I have no idea what the Scripts folder is. Can you help me out?

I would like to ask you a few questions about some of the widgets you have designed for iWeb. Are these part of the eBooks you sell on your website? Is there an email address that I could use to ask you questions outside of this forum (it would seem inapporiate to use this space to ask about something you are selling.)?
