There is no FaceTime icon on the iPhone. You initiate FaceTime from contacts, select a contact and select FaceTime.

Where did you buy your iPhone? I know in certain countries (mostly Middle Eastern), Facetime is not available for iOS.

I have the same question, I tried the resolution and there is no facetime option. I also am missing the app store, this has all happend since I upgraded to 7

I had the same problem and this is how I fixed it. Go to settings, select general, select restrictions, set a password and then turn facetime ON. Countries like the Middle East have blocked Facetime, so when you update, it turns Facetime off automatically and you have to turn it on manually. Hopefully this will only be required the first time. Hope this helps.
