I use a Western Digital MyPassport Studio drive and a Seagate GoFlex drive and they both are absolutely awesome.

If it works its good, if it doesn't its bad.  They all are good and if they come in an enclosure they will have their own sudden motion sensor which is also good, BUT avoid using it as an internal drive drive for your MBP.  There often is a compatibility issue with the MBP SMS.

As an aside, upgrade to Snow Leopard.  It is more efficient than Leopard and is only $29.

    Ciao.

As oglethorpe said, they're all good unless they're not. My input? WD drives are the work of the devil, Seagate is the one to buy. But I guarantee there will be dissent.

Csound1, greetings:  You said "WD  drives are the work of the devil,".  As a point of information, I do not manufacture any HDDs.

    Best regards.

    Ciao.
