I've bought a new computer, tranfered my music library, but when I go to sync it tells me I'll lose songs not in library. I have a no. of songs on the ipod (not purchased) that I don't have in my computer library anymore. Is there anyway I can still sync and not lose any of my songs?

Copy the music to the computer by using a third-party progtam like one of those discussed here:

    Copy music

Then connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up

Restore the iPod from that backup

Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.
