I just bought a portable GPS pod from Dual. It pairs well and appears to work fine with my iPad, but not only can I not pair it with my iPhone 4S, once I try, it disappears from the list of devices until I reboot my iPhone.

Does anyone have this issues? Anyone find a work-around?

I do not have a bumper on my phone, but my Plantronics headset connects OK.

Thanks,

-Steven

Ditto here.  No solution.  It pairs correctly with Ipad and with Itouch but steadfastly refuses to pair with 4S

Is the GPS device in pairing mode?

Is the device connected via Bluetooth to the iPad when attempting this?  If so, the iPad is interferring with the iPhone connecting.
