I use behind the ear hearing aids and ear hook loops that plug in to the headphone socket of anything with a 3.5mm jack. When I used them with my iPhone 3GS the loopd worked realy well as they cut out background noise and enabled me to make and recieve calls vetter thn ever before. The only strange part was I couldnt hear my voice,

However now I have an iPhone 4S, when I use my ear hook loops the iPhones microphone comes on and amplifys all the sounds around as well as the sound of the caller so it's difficult to make and recieve calls as i can't distinguish their voices any more, also they complain that they are hearing the same amplified background noise at their end. i've looked through the phones settings and menu's bt can't find anything to de activate the microphone....

Any ideas please folks?

many thanks ,
