Hook the powerbook up to the Macbook pro in Target Disk Mode and do the installation on the Powerbook (If Lion will let you). More info on Target Disk Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661

I forgot to say that I already tried that. It would boot up from the disk like it should, but then when it would reboot to start the installation the Pro would spit out the disk.

Snow Leopard is of little use to a Powerbook, is your disk a burned disk of a ISO? or just a disk with a iso on it?
have you tried mouting the PowerBook in target disk mode and installing from the Lion desktop?
