Hello! I reinstalled MacOS X on my macbook but I can't find gcc. I downloaded Xcode which has the gcc but I can't call it from the terminal using just the command "gcc somename.c -o somename " . Any ideas??

MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Don't worry. It will languish here unnoticed until sometime in March, 2013 when someone will post a "me too" reply.

Just for that, I'm going to bookmark this thread, wait until March 1, 2013 and write "me too!"
