Q: my ipod only responds when connected to the computer

my ipod only responds when connected to the computer...when i connect it, appears the charging simbol and then nothing...when i press the menu-center button combination, it changes to the low battery sign... but its been charging all night!!!PLEASE HEEEELLLPPP

    If the iPod screen shows

    battery charging icon Battery charging (lightning bolt)

    All night, then but still says low battery

     

    Battery less than 20% charged icon

    when disconnected from the USB

     

    Then your battery need replacing, Apple do it for US$59, or you can get it replaced at 3rd party service vendow for less.
