I'm trying to upload my book to ibooks. I'm in the itunes producer, latest version. I am at the rights & pricing page and both the publication type and the price tier are grayed out. When I get to the deliver page, it says I have errors, so I go back to rights & pricing and it will not allow me to 'choose' anything. They're both 'blank' or 'grayed out' and I have no options.  I'm stuck in a vicious circle and can't quite figure out what I'm doing wrong.

When I go to the user manual for itunes producer and look at the rights & pricing section, it says that the tier is determined by my contract. Which contract are they referring to? lol

HELP!!!!

    What contract do you have?

Did you sign up for a 'free' contract that only allows you to upload books that are free in the store or did you sign up for a 'paid' contract that lets you set a price and sell books in the store?

Log in to iTunes Connect and check your contract status - perhaps something there needs your approval/attemtion and needs to be completed before you can proceed otherwise.

Did you request and accept/agree to the updated contract?

I think if you do that, you can proceed with your app via iTP.

I tried logging into iTunes Producer under his apple ID & with his password and it would not let me log in under his name.

Does the same iTunes ID and password get you into iTunes? If so, I'd say it's a permission problem with iTunes Connect, and you should contact Apple for help. If not, the ID and/or password are wrong. In that case, you could reset the password.
