Hi All, I would like to find out a way to upgrade my OS,have neglected upgrading this 10.4 OS ..Is it possible to install the new lion? Another problem I have is that my CD drive does not work,is it possible to do a digital upgrade?

To start with the CD drive first, no you can't do a digital upgrade. I suggest as a first step you repair your optical drive.

If your Mac meets the hardware requirements then you can upgrade to newer versions of OS X. Since you failed to tell us which Mac you have, we are not able to tell you which version of OS X that might be.

If you upgrade the RAM to 2 GB and fix the optical drive, your Mac can run Lion.

In order to do that you will need to purchase a Snow Leopard DVD then update to 10.6.8 to get the App Store that for the purchase and installation of Lion.
