Is there a paste special in Numbers for iPad?

Or a way to copy information from a list into separate cells on a spreadsheet?

Thank you.

I assume you are referring to the "paste special" from excel. We need to know what "special" paste your wanting to duplicate specifically. Values can be done as a new range, as well as formulas, but some other special options are not available.

you mention "from a list". We need to know kind of list, text file, another table, pages, email, web page. Can you give a sample of data (fudge it to protect senstive data of course)

    Sorry I didn't give specifics:

I went to a wikipedia page that listed all the sci-fi magazines published currently in the US.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_fiction_magazine#Current_magazines

I want to paste these titles into a Numbers (ios) spreadsheet with each title getting its own row.  When I paste it directly I get all of the information in one cell.

    Thanks again,

    Marge

well, this one i dont know. I can do it on my desktop, but it doesnt work on iOS. I tried a few things and nothing worked.

But since i worked on it on my desktop, I just happen to now have a number spreadsheet with the lists if you would like it. Just email me and remind me what file your looking for and I will email it out to you.
