Q: Itunes billing adress

Hi,

I live in Morocco, so the other day I wanted to buy a song from itunes but when entering my credit card itunes asked about billing information

I can't find morocco in the list of countries. So my question is : can I enter an adress of another country? or does the billing adress need to match the credit card location thanks

The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store.  You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

I don't see Morocco mentioned in the link below which make me wonder if there is an itunes store there.

It would seems the iTunes Store is not yet available in Morocco. That said, items on any particular country's iTunes Store are available only for distribution to customers who reside in that country and use a credit card, debit card, iTunes Gift Certificate, or iTunes Gift Card issued in and for that country. As such, you cannot purchase from another country's iTunes Store using a Moroccan credit card.

The iTunes Store will come to your country if and when Apple can work out all the multitude of licensing, copyright and royalty issues with all the various entities that hold the distribution rights in your country, along with any legal and infrastructure issues that might arise. When or indeed if that will happen, no one outside of Apple can say, if even they know, and Apple won't speak to the subject until they're ready to officially announce. Anything anyone here could say would be just rumor and speculation, and neither are allowed in these forums.  Sorry, but we'll all just have to wait and see what happens.  Regards.
