Feb 13, 2011 4:38 PM in response to BSteelyby Igor_G5,Hi. Thanks for the response. It's all good now. Turned out to be a cable that somehow got disconnected. I didn't find it because my legs don't work right and I really can't crawl around under the desk. -
Mar 17, 2011 7:10 AM in response to BSteelyby vbc,I'm having similar problem but am sure everything is connected. Are the power bricks prone to fault? Thanks -
Mar 19, 2011 8:03 AM in response to vbcby BSteely,Power bricka aren't necessarily prone to fault, but it should be the first thing to try because it's the cheapest thing to try. If the problem is in the display itself, the cost of repair will be much higher. -
Mar 29, 2011 12:48 PM in response to Igor_G5by dataxy.com,Same here but my problem is with the blinking lights warning (short short long). At first I thought it was a power issue in my house (low-tension) because the display blinks rapidly before turning off. Anyone have any news? -
Mar 30, 2011 1:26 PM in response to Igor_G5by dataxy.com,I tried many things yesterday. I don't use the USB or FW inputs on the display so I unpluged the USB and FW cables from the video card and the display works a lot better now. It's too early to say that that fixed it but I can actually use it perfectly now. -
Aug 10, 2011 4:40 PM in response to Igor_G5by JDF,Was having trouble getting my 30" Cinema Display to power up when connected to my new MacBook Air. Had bought Apple's Dual DVI to Mini Displayport adapter. Did not realize you HAVE to hook up the USB "thru" cables. Incorrectly assumed at first the USB connection was optional. Hope this speeds up set up for someone else.
