I've bought a Cisco E3200 wireless router to use at home. There I have PCs and my new Mac Book Air. That router has an USB port to connect an external drive, and PCs are making their backups there. I would like to use that external drive as the backup device for my Mac too.

I've managed to make Time Machine to see the external drive, but Time Machine informs me that it cannot make the backup in the drive due to an AFP problem. Using Finder though, I can create files smoothly in that drive. Any thoughts?
