I had the same problem, there are few videos and solutions posted in internet but I wouldn't recommend them. I did try two different "solutions" and my phone started to be totally unresponsive. I had to take it back to Apple Tech Support in Istanbul so they repaired it for 50 bucks. If I didn't try to repair it myself it would only cost me 30. Even if you don't have warranty take it to Apple Store or authorized Tech. Service to replace home button. Good luck.

Another solution to get it repaired for free (well the cost of a toothbrush actually!)
Same thing happened for me, became unresponsive and the solution, which may sound silly is to actually use a toothbrush...
My issue was that there was dirt stuck underneath the button causing the unresponsiveness. It's a little fiddly so the instructions are below:
