FYI-- Messages shows a pop-up saying the password to my Yahoo (messenger) account is incorrect.  When I log in to Yahoo via Safari with the credentials I'm using the password is accepted.

    Hi,

Go to Applications/Utilities and open Keychain Access.

At the top make sure the Login item is selected.

Lower Left should be on Passwords

On the right find the Yahoo item and double click on it

tick the Show Password Box (Enter the Login Password and click Allow Once in the Dialogue box)

The Password for the Yahoo info should now be shown.

It is what you think you set ?

Edit if required and confirm Save.

If it is correct check the Access tab

Is iChat/Messages allowed to use this item ?
