I set up icloud yesterday, all was working properly.

Today , in Mail, I added another email from an outside Apple source.

I then made the mistake of thinking my @me.com email was not represented in the side bar of Mail.

I saw the icloud icon but didn't put it together.

I then added that account making a duplicate.

No more woking properly.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Can the Second @me.com be removed by an Apple Tech?

It was such a good day so far.

Thanks, Brian

I deleted the second account, that worked from Mail Preferences.

    No working email still.

Could be a setting problem I don't recognize.

    Geez, bum flow

Go to System Preferences>iCloud. Turn mail off, restart, turn mail on.

Csound1 thanks for that suggestion. It reminds me to keep everything clean, simple, easy to follow.

I turned mail off by unchecking Mail & Notes at the top of the list of media to check, closed, restarted, reopened SP/icloud, checked Mail & Notes, sent email from outside source with cc. cc arrives nut no @me.    shucks

    I have Mail Preferences open

I have System Preference open at icloud

somewhere in view... a field is input incorrectly...a check is missing

I don't which or how many

I would completely start over... if that were possible

    WOW

now all works without me knowing what I did to make it go

I think i'm the biggest security threat this Mac has to face

I have no idea what I did

now what     this scares the crap out o me

You cleared the cached account store by signing out, then reloaded from the server by signing in, "all works now" is what I expected to happen
