What is the app in question? What version?

Hi, it's called Micad Helpdesk and I have the latest version (1.26 I think). I've taken the issue back to the company as well. Other sites have managed to install the app this way however without any problem.

It looks like that app is no longer on the App Store. This is why Configurator is telling you that it cannot determine the price of the app.

Are you accessing from the UK?
If not you've given me an idea as to what's happening. I think the Apple Configurator is only checking the US store, so if the app isn't available there then it returns this error.

That does explain it. Configurator currently only supports distribution of paid apps using VPP with the US App Store only.

Does that apply to free apps too? I could find no explicit mention of that. The documentation for this really needs a fix up.

Configurator will use the US app store to check if the app is free. It will also authorize the app using the Apple ID that 'purchased' the free app. In addition, the Apple ID that purchased the free app must be authorized in iTunes on the Mac that is running Configurator.

I think you may have given me the solution. I'll ask the company to make the app available on the US store too and I'll see what happens then.
I might file a bug report or similar with Apple. It would be useful if the configurator checked via the store relevant to the country that the account is registered with. Partially defeats the point of setting an account in the configurator.
Thanks for your help.
