Select the lock and enter your pasword to change the login options.
System prefs should be on the dock, if not you can find it under the apple on the menu bar on the top of the screen.

May 4, 2012 11:50 AM in response to Felvoby baltwo,Not going to happen. The previous advice just allows logging in, using the username and password, w/o your intervention. Installing software and other activities will require you to enter an admin's credentials. That's the Mac OS X way. Since you're new, see these:
