It's likely due to your ram. Try reseating it, and if that doesn't work take out one stick or the other and see if one of the sticks if faulty.

then you must go for service. If else, give details.
Generally, beep in Mac OS mean a severe hardware problem, it may be mere coincidence that it started after installing Lion. what did you do beside installing Lion? New RAM too? Why are you so sure your RAM is good?
