Assuming that the battery isn't empty (have you tried charging it for 15 or so minutes ?), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo will hopefully appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

that usually cannot happen with THIS devices until and unless you have physically damaged it
if that's not the case, put your phone in DFU mode and restore it with itunes
DFU mode instructions:_
PHONE NEEDS TO BE CONNECTED WITH ITUNES TO YOUR COMPUTER BEFORE YOU START,
PRESS THE HOME BUTTON FOR ABOUT 10 SECS AND THEN PRESS THE ON/OFF KEY WITHOUT RELEASING THE HOME BUTTON, UR PHONE SCREEN WILL TURN WHITE & ITUNES WILL PROMPT YOU TO RESTORE THE PHONE, JUST HIT ON RESTORE AND UR PHONE SHOULD BE PRETTY MUCH ALIVE AGAIN
