Safari keeps crashing. Is it just my set up or is this a common issue? Started today.

    Hi...

Run this removal tool in case your Mac has been infected with the flashback trojan > Flashback Removal Tool - Ka Weblog : News from the Lab

That trojan can cause Safari to crash.

If no trojan was found, post a crash report in your reply.

If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash  information.

Copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply. If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.

    Hi..

    Go to   ~/Library/Safari

Move the WebpageIcons.db file from the Safari folder to the Trash.

    Try Safari.

If you need help finding the files.

    Open the Finder.

From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder

Type this in exactly as you see it here or copy/paste:    ~/Library/Safari

You'll see the WebpageIcons.db file in the Safari folder.
