I've had exactly the same issue. Perhaps the file actually is corrupted as the error message states.

Me too. But mine is odd in that I HAD the file - downloaded on the day it came out, and then watched. But then it disappeared. I've emailed Apple support and they've resent the file, but I get the same answer. They tell me to try again, but itunes seems to think I've already downloaded it.
I got the iTunes extras, but not the movie.
Please let me know if there's any resolution! Thanks.

Surprisingly this morning, the planets must have been aligned because the movie downloaded with no problem after a week of issues. A big thank you goes out to someone!

I'm having the same error 50 message.. is there a fix out yet?
