When I click on move rejected clips to trash in imovie it does nothing.  Anyone have a suggestion?

Of course, keep in mind that if any part of rejected clip is still in unfinished imovie, it will be taken out.

When i couldn't delete/move the rejected only to trash. I right clicked on the clip (w/ red-bar), Reveal in Finder, and draged it into trash. Restart: imovie and it is gone.

I suggest you follow these instructions. If they don't work, report back.

In the Event Library, click SHOW REJECTED ONLY.

Then, you should see all your rejected clips. If all is well, there should be a button over to the right to complete the Move to Trash.

Note: Be aware that if you use 1Sidekeck's method, it will delete both the Rejected and Unrejected areas of the clip.

With all due respect, i am talking about the same as you (as in show rejected only & event library).

That is the only place i know of where the OP mentioned in being. I have had this problem with the "Move rejected to trash" button, in not removing. And i warned the OP of it deleting the whole clip also. Sorry for the misunderstanding or my bad form of post/method AppleMan1958, but i intended to give a good reply.

Hopefully we both gave the right answer, if they're different. Cheers, Sidekick
