I recently got a new iPad to replace one that went bad on me before.  Between the time that one went out of service and this one came into play, I also got a MBP to replace my other computer.  Now I did transfer the music from that computer to this one so I have all the music that I had on the other computer.  However, the apps were not transferred onto this computer.  Now the problem that I have is after restoring this iPad from the iCloud backup that I have when I try to sync it with this new MBP, I get it telling me that it is going to remove all the apps from my iPad.  Is there a way to get the apps off it and onto the computer so that I don't have to try to download them all again...Right now isn't the greatest time to have to do that as I also just moved and don't have access to the Internet by any other means that a Verizon card and don't want to load that up with all sorts of data so I don't want to have to download them all right now.  I also don't want to loose all my apps.  This iPad and iTunes on this MBP are registered to the same Apple ID as the original equipment was.

Before syncing it, choose Transfer Purchases from the Store menu in iTunes.

I don't get that option....I already chose to sync the music and have put the music back on it that I want, however, I haven't chose to sync the apps because as soon as I check that, it tells me that it is going to erase the iPad

I found it thanks....Was under the File Menu, and looks like it is transferring the stuff all to my MBP now....

Go into iTunes settings and stop Automatically Sync Devices.  This can be done by:

Edit > Preferences > Devices > Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from Syncing.........

Then connect your iPad to your computer and once it is recognized on the left side of the iTunes screen, right click it once and choose Transfer Purchases.  Once done, click Apply, Then Sync.
