How do I download pictures from my computer to another persons IPAD?

iPad, iOS 5.1

You could put the photos on a thumb drive and then copy them to the other computer, import them into iTunes on that computer, and then sync that iPad with iTunes. You can email the photos as well to that person.

I don't know if you read my most recent post because I realized that I had it backwards.

If you don't want to copy the photos to a drive of some type and then let the other person copy them into their iTunes, there are apps that will let you send phtos via WiFi. You have to be on the same WiFi network. Apple's iPhoto will let you share photos as well.

Look for third party apps in the app store.

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.

Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e.,; DSCN0164.jpg).

Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

The Dropbox app is the easiest way I have found to transfer files.  The best thing about this is you have the power to organize them into whichever files you like (which is your current problem).   In your scenario you would need the other person's iPad to have the dropbox app, and your computer to also have it (signed in on their account).  You can upload the pics from your comp into dropbox and save them through the dropbox app onto the ipad.
