I'm sorry, I was reading the amount of views. Tonight is the first night I have ever been on here simply because of the problem I am having concerning my security questions being changed. Even though I was severely wrong in my reading the amount there are still more than a few people who are having the same problem, and it has yet to be addressed.

There is nothing to be addressed.

Like Philly said, there is nothing to be addressed.  Apple put additional security measure in place.  You choose three simple questions from several options, like Your First Car, Your Favorite Car, etc.  The answers are something you likely should be able to remember.  So, what is it exactly you think needs to be addressed?

This whole new security system is the stupidest thing Apple has ever done!

Online banking adopted this system years ago. My bank not only requires three security questions, it also required me to choose a specific graphic that displays when I login. If the the graphic is wrong then I know I'm not at the bank's real web site. Get used to stricter security measures by all web sites that store personal information.

But you're being rational and logical.  Many of these people just want to whine and moan and complain about a new process that is actually intended to protect them.........

Security question is a good practice, however it is not convenient for many if there is no assistance available. Yes we have problem - how to get assistance to resolve without going to the store?

Smart alecky answers like yours are not helpful... the person ovbiously meant to say "answers".

Who chose these ridiculous security questions? I don't have answers for most of them and they are too subjective.  What ever happened to "What is your monther's maiden name?"?

Any question that begins with "What is your favorite...." needs to go.  I don't have a favorite song, or food etc.  My preferences change all the time (part of havinng ADD).  And "Where did my parents meet?"  Are they crazy?  That was obviously before the person was born.  My first job or first car?  I don't remember any of that.

Give me ONE security question and take the subjectivity out of it!  If someone wants to make up an answer that they can be sure they'll remember, they'll still be able to do that.

Until then, I guess i am done buying anything from Apple.

(BTW this iPad is the first Apple product I have ever owned.  I was very happy with it until this.  Apple, please get out of my way!!)

Since the iPad is the first and only product that you've ever purchased from Apple, I seriously doubt that they'll miss your business.

Personally, I had no problem at all remembering what country I was in in January of 2000.

I just tried it and it works the way that it should.  When you click on the link in the email message, you get the login screen that appears to be identical to what you had seen previously.  However, when you log in (with your old password), you are taken to this screen where you can change your security questions/answers.  Contrary to the text, you can not create your own questions.
