May 5, 2012 9:32 PM in response to Csound1by TheKarlski,Csound1, having thought about your question; if you are referring to whether I downloaded the firmware software to my mac before downloading it, then yes I have tried both options, directly from the apple site and also when prompted by Software Update, neither otion worked. If you are referring to the Lion OS, then I went through AppStore to download the file which was then automatically installed

May 6, 2012 6:49 AM in response to TheKarlskiby jsd2,it allows me to purchase the App again, ie: It doesnt show up as installed.
Assuming you are signed in to the App Store, does it actually ask you to pay the $29.99 again?

or does it say "Download"?

If it says "Download" then it also should appear in the Purchases tab that way, and that is normal behavior, at least in my system - it just means that you can download another copy for free if you like. The entry in the App store does not depend on what you are actually running - it will only say "Installed" in the Purchases tab if there is still a downloaded copy of the installer application on your startup drive, which normally would not be the case since the installer deletes itself from /Applications after it runs.
