Hello everybody, I want to use Time Capsule(2012) to extend the wireless signal from other brand's AP

The AP is ASUS RT-N56U.

When I try to use Time Capsule to extend the signal

It always says "Occur unexpected error, please try again."

Then I can't get the Time Machine's signal anymore.

I have to reset Time Machine again.

Is there somebody have the same situation like mine?

Really greatful if there is some advices or solution!

Thanks a lot !

Time Capsule, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

I want to use Time Capsule(2012) to extend the wireless signal from other brand's AP

Unfortunately, the Time Capsule can only "extend" a wireless signal from another Apple router. It is not compatible with devices from other manufacturers if you are trying to "extend" using wireless only.

If you can connect the TIme Capsule to your Asus router using an Ethernet connection, you can configure the Time Capsule to provide more wireless coverage that way
