My 1TB time capsule power supply died so i removed the HDD and installed in an external enclosure. No problems there. I plugged into my Macbook and fired it up, again no problems. The drive spins up and two volumes pop up on the screen: "APswap" and "APconfig" but not my main volume. Is this partition hidden? Is there any way to get it back? HELP?!?!

The partition is not hidden and should show up. Did you password the disk when you setup the TC? If you did so you can sometimes get around it but I suspect the disk is just dead.. is it a Gen2 and the disk is a black caviar WD.. if so you are in deep bad stuff.

Do you have a windows computer available? Load a HFS viewer.. there are free ones available and see if the partition shows up.. if not the drive is dead and you will need to send to a recovery centre. Not a cheap or pleasant option as half the time the recovery seems to get rubbish.
