There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on seven different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.
Are you trying to import Raw or Jepg? If Raw what model of camera?

my operating system is 10.6.8
Iphoto is 9.2.3
it has always worked in the past however the last time I tried to download photos it was from my samsung fasinate which was very difficult. this time I pluged my NIKON 4000 camera to it and it comes up but
the blck screen comes up and it says already imported then there is a line and the new photos say New photos but it has just the white square but no photos I can't figure out how to copy and paste to show an example. I have tried to unplug the camera a few times to see if it was not plugged in securely but no luck
