Exactly what do you mean? You can't delete an Apple ID, all you can do is stop using such. Do you want to change the Apple ID on your phone...please explain?

Why is it we are not permitted to remove/delete an account we created in our name? What if one would like to change their email address to one that is associated to an old unused username or vice versa? Any eyedears?

    ?

You cannot delete or remove an account because the apps, music, videos, etc. purchased through it will always be associated with that account and if you want to update, redownload, etc. you will need to use that account.

However, you can modify the email address associated to that account as many times as you need to.  Simply go into your account in iTunes in your computer and edit the email account.

In your iPhone, go to Settings, Store, sign out of the old account and sign in again using your new details.

The account is used soley for the purpose of this forum. I use a seperate account for Apple commerce. As for changing passwords, what you say is (with all due repsect) not true. If I attempt to associate a previously used email address with a newly created username, or vice versa, Apple say's, "No".

Apple says "no" a lot. It's 'Nannyware'. It's all for our own good, right?

    No, no, no, no, no.

Why can't this just be easy? Lords of Cobol forbid, someone is being stalked!

I want to change my email associated with a username. "No, it's presently asigned to another user". Yeah, that other user is me. Ugh.
