Q: How can I choose boot disk

like an idiot I left a DVD in the drive when I removed and upgraded the DDRAM (from 1-2Gb). I want to upgrade to Lion so I can move MobileMe to iCloud.

When I boot the MacBook it tries to read the DVD before anything else, even before screen provides options - how can I either:

1. Choose the boot disk, or

2. Eject the DVD??

Thanks for any advice - now desperate!

Hold down the Option Key as soon as you hear the startup chime. That will take you to a screen where you can choose which drive you want for startup.

A general tip for ejecting a disc is to hold down the mouse key or trackpad when starting up.
