May 7, 2012 10:38 AMby varjak paw,You can redeem an iTunes card on an iPad. Did you complete the process? If so, what has happened? Does the message say that the card has been cancelled, or that the code has already been redeemed? Do you not see a balance when you are signed into the iTunes Store account through which you redeemed the card?

Update on the Fafard class action lawsuit involving the cancelled Itunes gift cards here:

Apparently, although complaint there suggested involved Best Buy only, it was the intermediary used by Apple that cancelled the cards not either Best Buy or Apple itself. Settlement would reinstate (make active) old gift cards.
