I just updated to 5.1.1.  new iPad is in a continous restore loop.   Looks to be good if I go fresh, but I need my data.  Do not like to say it, but since Jobs has passed.  Things have been on a slow morphine downward spiral drip with hardware and software.

Yes...because when any CEO quits or passes, all quality control goes out the window.

And because you specifically are having issues, well than that just has to speak for everyone else.

I did the update lat night.  Ota on my wifi.  Went fine.  And I was going to remark that it seems a little snappier after the update, but that may be my imagination.

Of course, TP. Jobs wrote all of the code, designed the architecture, QAed every app, and made coffee for everyone at the Capertino campus .

I updated to 5.1.1 last night. No issues what so ever.

    Hey SONICDJ25,

I had the same issue but this was before the update. I was testing "wipe" feature for our corporate enviroment. Before I wiped the device, I made a backup to iTunes and the iCloud. After the wipe, I kept getting Set-Up iPad. I called Apple and the rep told me to book a reservation at an Apple Store. Once there I told them the same story and the Genius asked me to restore on a new iPad and it worked. So the genius gave me the iPad and I was on my way.

It might just be the iPad, but call Apple and get it sorted.
