About two days ago my desktop became bigger than the screen. How do I make it smaller again. I don't know what I did but now when I start my computer I cannot fit the whole desktop on the screen. I have to take my cursor to the right to see date and my name and then to the left to see the apple icon, finder, file, edit, etc. And the same thing going up and down which means I have to see top or put cursor on bottom to see bottom. This is only affecting my desktop.

Does this make sense?

Help? Thank you!

Go to System Preferences -> Universal Access, click the Seeing tab and turn off Zoom.

Or press the Control key and do a two finger drag towards you on the trackpad.

It probably got zoomed by accident.  Holding down the Control key while scrolling will enlarge the screen.  Scrolling the other direction will unzoom it.
