what does the @ stands for in a umask ls -ila '-rw--rw-rw-@'

I have some files that get a <@> at the end of their umask (ls -ila)

I cannot get rid of that arobas

where does it come from and how to get rid of it ?

 

 

$ls -ila

total 6672

3013803 drwxr-xr-x   8 insta  staff      272 May  8 22:22 .

263786   drwxr-xr-x+ 21 insta  staff      714 May  8 21:17 ..

3015049 -rw-rw-rw-@ 1 insta  staff     263 May  8 22:20 tom.cmd

3015016 -rw-r--r--@ 1 insta  staff   25846 May  8 22:15 tom.dat

3015021 -rw-r--r--@ 1 insta  staff  950681 May  8 22:15 tom.lds
