Q: I got the message about can't install - unable to make a recovery disc and I don't have RAID or a partioned HD, I also have 223 GB free space.  I don't even want Lion, I'm just doing it to keep my .mac email address and use icloud.  Advice?

What should I do?  I don't want to spend hours erasing the HD, reinstalling etc.  I'm getting very weary of Apple's constant upgrades.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7)
