I am editing a little video that will be made up of many imported photos. I scanned them into the computer as Jpegs and imported them into FCP. They look fine when played without effects. One I apply a auto pan zoom effect all this moire patterns appear. I have imported photos before with no trace of the moire pattern that originated from digial camera. The only difference from the problem I am having now and the other times is that I have scanned them. It would seem to me it should be no problem. Is there something in the food chain I have not done correctly. I have just switched to FCP 7 from 6 maybe there is a setting not correct?

you didn'd say what the originals were and what settings you used to scan,

but double the dpi setting and scan again as TIFF
