Hey Everyone,

I recently bought OSX Lion from the app Store.. So it loads(installs) into the dock, but now I want too back it up to a Hard drive or DVD medium... Is this possible? Or must you download it everytime you redo the system?

Blessings

Read the following instructions to create your own backup copy:

Apple would prefer you to to download it each time because that doesn't require users to have any extra hardware. If you do have an external drive or DVD, you can just copy the Lion installer application onto the other drive. Then, if you need to reinstall onto a new hard drive or something, just use the recovery USB flash to boot and you should be able to run run the installer from the internal drive. You might have to use the Terminal though.
