Q: iphoto library error message???
iPhoto: Unimported photos found in library alerts when opening iPhoto
Products Affected
iPhoto '08 (7.x)
Symptoms
After opening iPhoto ’08, you may see one or more of the following alerts:
"A photo has been found in the iPhoto Library folder that was not imported. Would you like to import it?"
"__ photos have been found in the iPhoto Library folder that are not a part of this photo library. Would you like to import them?"
Resolution
This may occur if you have upgraded from an older version of iPhoto (version 6 or earlier) to iPhoto '08.
If the alert message reappears every time you open iPhoto and you are not able to import the photos in question, look in the root level of the iPhoto Library folder for a folder named "Recovered Photos" or a folder named Import. Quit iPhoto, move this folder to your desktop, and then try opening iPhoto again.
Important: Be careful not to remove any other folders or items from the iPhoto Library folder. Doing so could cause your iPhoto library to become unreadable.
i have tried the above but this doesnt fix the problem... any other reason ??? solution????

Quit iPhoto and to to the iPhoto library (by default in your pictures folder) - right click (control click) on it and select show package contents - find the folder named import (on importing) and drag it to the desktop - DO NOT MAKE ANY OTHER CHANGES - launch iPhoto and you will be fine.
Open the import(ing) folder and if there is nothing in it that you need move it to the trash and empty the trash
