exporting photos ?

how to export photos and videos from itunes to another non ios device and do i need to keep same photos and videos somewhere on hd (pictures) or can i delete them,will they stay in itunes library ? thanks

    You'll have to copy the photos and videos to your computer, after that you can delete them from the camera roll. This article explains how to: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083

    From the folder on your computer you can copy them anywhere you like. Photos or videos taken with the device are not part of the iTunes library, only part of the backup until you change the content of the camera roll.

    If you copied your videos to iTunes by using "add to library" from the menu, you can delete the original file on your computer. By importing the file, iTunes created a new version that can be played on your devices.

     

    But you can't import photos into your iTunes library. Photos are synced from the location selected in the photo pane. During the sync process iTunes will optimize the photos for viewing them on your devices. They will be reduced in size and quality, which means, that you should backup the content of the photo folder. Deleting photos from those selected folders will erase the photos on the phone or iPod as well.
