May 15, 2012 4:05 AM in response to soniaycarolinaby Demo,Are you asking about videos that you took with another camera or the videos that you took with the iPad?
The videos taken with the iPad camera are in the camera roll of the photos app. Videos that you take with an external camera have to be imported onto the iPad by using the camera connection kit or by importing them into iTunes and then syncing them to the iPad.

May 15, 2012 4:09 AM in response to Demoby soniaycarolina,Hi, thanks for answering. The videos I have from my HD camera. I got the connection kit but the iPad doesn't download them. It's fine with pics, it's just the videos.
Kind Regards

May 15, 2012 4:13 AM in response to soniaycarolinaby Demo,I don't know anything about the CCK as I do not use it. I found this on cnet.com. Read the portion about "ripped movies" and having to rename the video files.

May 15, 2012 4:45 AM in response to soniaycarolinaby Diavonex,If your camera supports both PTP and Mass Storage Device modes, it may be necessary to use both modes to import all media content.
If some files do not import as expected using one mode, try switching to the other mode and importing again.
Note: Some cameras may refer to PTP as Pictbridge or PTP/Pictbridge.

May 15, 2012 5:18 AM in response to soniaycarolinaby Menneisyys,This is a widely-discussed, well-known problem with many (full) HD cameras producing M(2)TS files - see for example http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/playing-back-1080p60i60p-non-mov-videos-right- your-camera
Unfortunately, there isn't an easy, desktop-less solution to the problem. You should push Apple to implement support for the MTS container.

May 15, 2012 5:20 AM in response to Demoby Menneisyys,Unfortunately, the problem is the container format of the movies (MTS), which is, currently, completely unsupported by Apple. Renaming won't help (and you can't do it without having access to a desktop).
