Have you installed the BootCamp Drivers for Windows? Have you installed any drivers, after your first install of Windows 7?

Nope, I keep reading everywhere about this "magic" drivers CD, but the truth of a matter is, I have done everything that Mac/Bootcamp have promted me to do, prit some kind of uselsess CD/DVD, out of which I couldn't install anything and call it a day.

Wait, wait, wait... That was a very important part of the instillation. That is what contains all the necessary drivers to run your Apple peripherals in BootCamp. I suggest creating a USB version instead of a CD version since that didn't go so well, make sure you install them off the USB flash drive into Windows, them reboot, you should be good to go. Installing Windows updates won't install drivers it'll only install updated security, and patches.

If it works I recommend to leave it as is...No problem! Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities!
