May 16, 2012 7:13 AM in response to sandy_sanby peacheep,If you need to authorize your new computer and are unable due to already having five authorized computers, you can deauthorize all computers by doing the following:
- Click iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
- If you're not signed in to the store, click the Account button, then enter your account name and password.
- Click the Account button again (your Apple ID appears on the button), enter your password, and then click View Account.
- In the Account Information window, click Deauthorize All.

Sep 6, 2015 7:10 AM in response to peacheepby FearAfter,Hello, you obviously have trouble reading. You completely missed the point. The question was asking what to do if you already used your once a year deauthorization ability and then reached the limit again. This is a real concern and your stock, oblivious response helps nothing.

Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us

This is a user-to-user forum. We are all volunteers. Peacheep made a good faith effort to help someone three years ago. What is the point in dredging up a thread that has been dormant for this long just to be run to someone?

Sandy,`
Sandy posted this three years ago. The thread was resurrected by FearAfter for.... well, I'm not sure why. These resurrected threads can be quite confusing.

Sep 6, 2015 7:31 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby elcpu,Thanks, Meg, I just got through taking the "appropriate" action regarding that post (available to those with 150 points)....
You're fortunate that elcpu was still willing to expend his time to further assist you.
I offered assistance to the OP, not FearAfter...

And, as you can see from my edit, I got "bitten" by this one, too.
Your post was excellent, even though it may never help the OP.
